Oh my… It’s almost been a week since I last uploaded a video - that wasn’t supposed to happen ._. Anyways, I think that I’ve conquered the slump, and am ready to start producing more, and hopefully better, content for you guys!

On that note, we’re not done with Layers of Fear, since I promised you that I’d play through the DLC, Inheritance. Well, this is it :D

Layers of Fear: Inheritance takes place 15 after the ending of the original game. The Artist have died, and he left all of his earthly possessions to his daughter, who we get to play.

With the daughter’s company, we’re taking a trip down memory lane, as we travel through and searches the house for anything that might be useful - maybe even something that might set us free from the memory of our father, the Artist…

A new feature in Layers of Fear: Inheritance, is the fact that we see everything from the daughter’s perspective, which also entails playing as her from a child’s perspective, even some of the scenes we know from the original game :(

Layers of fear is a horror game from 2016, but it’s maybe not horror in the “traditional” sense. Instead of using a plethora of jump scares, Layers of Fear calls itself a “psychological horror game”.

The player takes on the role of an unnamed artist, a very good one at that with a glorious career ahead of him. Until a fire in a gallery happened, which among other things burned the artist’s wife badly. Now, the artist is seemingly all alone in his house, where he struggles to cope with what happened, as well finishing his final masterpiece…

I am not a fan of horror. Generally, I don’t actually find it all that much entertaining to scare myself, and much prefer to laugh and be happy :p So why am I doing this? To step out of my comfort zone and try something new!

Also, even though I’ve never played a horror game before, I’ve always thought about how I actually would react to the scary stuff, which I have the opportunity to do now - and share this horror Let’s Play with you guys! :D
