This is my Sonic 2 speedrun with total in-game time of 16 minutes and 37 seconds.

I'd say this run features about 20 seconds of mistakes: 2 seconds or so on AR1, 3 or so on AR2, 2 on MC1, 3 on MC2, 2 on OO2, and 8 at Metropolis 2 thanks to hitting the platform early and having to set up the glitch again. However, I hit the ridiculous Metropolis 3 glitch (have to activate it in a two-frame window, once executed it's basically blind luck whether you get through or not though) first try, which saves the time somewhat. I'll probably want to shave ten or more seconds off this time before I submit to SDA.
