Oldest Zoomer yells at Minecraft clouds - Minecraft Alpha! Progressive! (WillPending 04/20/2022)
0In today's record of Minecraft Progressive I'm sick! You can't even be mad at my low effort attempts at content creation today, it was out of my control! Instead of using my standard methodology for bantering, I decided I needed to take a more direct approach to whittle down my ever growing list of discussion topics. That leads to a slightly forced segment, but I did meet my goals as far as discussing a larger number of topics in a shorter amount of time. I talk about Dax Flame, Mina the Hollower's kickstarter from the Shovel Knight devs, and Line rider drama of all things!
Minecraft Progressive is at its core a Minecraft let's play series. I wanted to have my own long running Minecraft world that I could periodically build upon, but Minecraft let's plays are so over done at this point that if I wanted to keep things engaging for myself and viewers I needed to mix things up. The twist I landed on was starting the world on the earliest playable build of Minecraft survival I could access, and slowly progressing things towards the present as desired! I set goals for myself that I must meet in some capacity before moving up to the next update which keeps me occupied and ensures I don't just sprint towards modern Minecraft without actually playing with the quirks that make the earlier versions interesting!

In Minecraft, players explore a blocky, procedurally generated 3D world with virtually infinite terrain, and may discover and extract raw materials, craft tools and items, and build structures, earthworks and simple machines. Depending on game mode, players can fight computer-controlled mobs, as well as cooperate with or compete against other players in the same world. Game modes include a survival mode, in which players must acquire resources to build the world and maintain health, and a creative mode where players have unlimited resources and access to flight. Players can modify the game to create new gameplay mechanics, items, and assets.
Minecraft received critical acclaim, winning several awards and later being cited as one of the greatest video games of all time.

This video was streamed live on my Twitch channel. I play a variety of mostly indie games, but in general don't like sitting in the same spot for too long, so things get mixed up pretty frequently. I try to put a focus on the conversation and banter of the stream, so hopefully that's something you find entertaining regardless of what I'm using as a backdrop!
