The beginnings of Hobbit speedruns - Peer Review with Chrix! (WillPending 04/25/2022)
In this Peer Review podcast I'm joined by Chrix an incredibly dedicated Hobbit runner who's been with the community since it was established more or less! I wanted to get to know more about how he first got started running the Hobbit, as well as some of the community drama that was glossed over in MKarma's History of Hobbit speedrunning doc. Chrix also somehow seamlessly manages working a mostly full time job, music composition, and streaming without skipping a beat! I was also curious how Chrix thought GDQ went for the Hobbit since my perspective on the community when I arrived made it seem like there wasn't a huge long term boom from that. And of course as is usual, I ask the general streaming mentality questions too!

Peer Review is a casual interview style podcast where I invite friends I've made over my time streaming on Twitch to talk about certain topics that I feel most don't get the opportunity to delve into often. I try to shed light on some of the harder aspects to streaming, especially when it's accompanied by a lack of appreciation.
This video was streamed live on my Twitch channel. I play a variety of mostly indie games, but in general don't like sitting in the same spot for too long, so things get mixed up pretty frequently. I try to put a focus on the conversation and banter of the stream, so hopefully that's something you find entertaining regardless of what I'm using as a backdrop!
