On Project Mega Man X: Fighting Arena
20I have documented some interesting cases of fan projects stepping over boundaries before, so this is no exception. I apologize for needing to make this video, the lack of commentary, or anything that is the usual. It seems I may have come across another sketchy fan game project (this time in using Mega Man X and MUGEN), where profiteering may be in play. Please do not give money to fan game makers for making/maintaining their fan games or exclusive content. We do not almost always have permission over using Mega Man, it crosses over a line that goes from a hobby (which fan game makers do at their own expense and time) to something that, could be deemed crossing over into making money on somebody else's IP. This Patreon has not received the momentum of other projects I've highlighted on my channel in the past, but I advise not letting this be another one of that kind. Fan game makers always take a risk when they put their spare time into making these kinds of projects, letting people break that trust will only put a target on all of us (fan game makers and people that make fan content as a hobby).

There are many more points that could have been made here, but I hope you understand why this would be a concern.
This is not a slight to the project's content, I can't comment on the game's contents itself. So this is not me judging the game so far or anything like this.

If there are any updates to this story, please do let me know. I'm very happy to see new changes in this story.
Please do not harass the person in question, I suggest only nicely asking about this situation and trying your best to get them away from funding their projects in this way.
