To create a shortcut for shutting down your computer, follow these steps:

1. Right-click on your desktop and go to "New".

2. Select "Shortcut" from the options.

3. In the location field, type "shutdown -s -t 0" (without the quotes) ( copy this: shutdown -s -t 0 )

If you ever find yourself in a situation where you need to leave your computer on for several hours, but you want it to shut down once a certain process has finished. You don't need any third-party software, and it will only take a minute or two to set up.

To create a shutdown timer manually, open Command Prompt and type the command shutdown -s -t XXXX. The "XXXX" should be the time in seconds you want to elapse before the computer shuts down. For instance, if you want the computer to shut down in 2 hours, the command should look like shutdown -s -t 7200.

4. You can name the shortcut anything you like, such as "Off" or "Expressed".

5. Once you've created the shortcut, you'll see it on your desktop.

6. To further customize it, right-click on the shortcut and select "Properties".

7. In the properties window, you'll find an option to change the icon. Click on it.

8. Choose from the multiple icon options available.

9. Apply the changes and click "OK".

10. Finally, you can drag and drop the shortcut onto your taskbar for easy access.

11. Now, whenever you click on this icon, your Windows will shut down instantly.

More Info :- If you want to restart your computer on a delay, use shutdown -r -t XXXX instead.

To cancel the timer, open the Run window or Command Prompt again and enter shutdown -a.
