Eine Stunde Gameplay von "Red Dead Redemption", einem Cowboy-Action-Epos entwickelt und veröffentlicht von Rockstar im Jahre 2010 für Xbox 360 und Playstation 3, in 2016 für die Xbox One, 2023 für Nintendo Switch und Playstation 4 als Remaster so wie in 2024 (ENDLICH) für Windows PC, ebenfalls in der Remaster-Version.
Im Spiel übernimmt man die Rolle des Outlaws John Marston, welcher eigentlich genug von einem Leben als Krimineller hat und nun lieber ein ruhiges Leben auf seiner Farm führen möchte, wobei er leider die Rechnung ohne einige Staatsdiener gemacht hat, die ihn unbedingt für ihre Zwecke einspannen wollen, um seiner alte Bande ein für allemal das Handwerk zu legen.
Typisch für das Western-Genre geht es dabei natürlich blutig, dreckig und maximal bleihaltig zu.
Seinerzeit und bis heute gilt der Western-Epos als eins der besten Spiele aller Zeiten und diesen Ruf hat sich das Spiel mit seiner extensiven und immersiven Open World, seiner fantastisch erzählten Geschichte und dem hervorragend eingefangenen Wild-West-Flair mehr als verdient.
2018 folgte der Nachfolger, "Red Dead Redemption 2", welcher auf diese hervorragende Leistung nochmal eine ganze Schippe drauflegte.

In the game the player takes control of the outlaw John Marston who actually is pretty fed up with the life as a criminal gang member and just wants to live out a peaceful life on his farm, but he wasn't expecting the interference of a couple of government agents that force him to bring down his old gang members with his involvement.
Typically for the western genre of course this all ends up pretty bloody, dirty and full of lead.
Back then and until today this western epic is considered as one of the best games of all times and this reputation the game has well earned with its vast and immersive open world, its fantastic told story and the outstanding capture of the wild west atmosphere.
In 2018 the sequel, "Red Dead Redemption 2" followed and even added some layers to this already pretty impressive score.
