Given the considerable amount of changes and improvements in this wave of updates, it was time to keep you guys posted on this interesting little Unity project I'm building.
At this point, this build is looking a lot like a VR version of the full game limited to a smaller area, only three animatronics and no Golden Freddy. (Update: the game has now four animatronics, counting Foxy)
The scenery visuals have been improved, giving especially the Oculus Rift players that uncomfortable agony anticipating a visit from our unwanted guests. It's so run down, you can almost smell the place!
The list of updates and additions is pretty long and goes as follows:
-Office scene materials replaced, some assets changed, others improved
-Area outside office rebuilt with rooms properly connected
-Hallways, party room and other wall, ceiling and flooring materials changed
-Spotlight models added in the office
-Sound effect system created for animatronics (Sound comes from location of animatronic)
-20 sound effects created for animatronics
-Freddy animatronic added
-Camera map redrawn
-Camera #3 (and maintenance room) added
-Animatronics now start from stage
-After kill attempts, animatronic resets to stage
-Game Over screen added... "Red Freddy?" :-)
-Game over sound effect created (player choking in Freddy suit)
-Animatronic randomizer improved
-Added possibility for eventual general and animatronic specific difficulty setting
Future considerations:
-Foxy (Actually animated animatronic)
-Golden Freddy (game-wide, program glitching & crashing random nightmare system)
-Other nights?
