In order to give the new, now slightly overclocked GTX970 a full all around reliability diagnostic, along with trying to find the settings to get Isolation reliably outputting 75 frames per second or more *AT ALL TIME*, I used survivor mode first treating the experience like a hardware benchmark, slowly transitioning into a game I actually wanted to win!
The clip is shorter than the other ones, mostly because it falls outside of the game's campaign and the nature of this game mode is quite different, affecting both my play style and total play time.
Random VR Let's Plays are infrequent recordings I perform while playing a given game in VR. While some are sometimes posted in parts due to excessive length, these series will not contain a play of the full game. They've now also come to serve as a medium to experiment with VR video production, improving the process used on this channel.
Amongst many experiments on these Random LP videos, attempts are made at reversing the VR's lens distortion and chromatic aberration, along with minimizing aliasing and banding and finally looking for the best balance between cropping into the view and preserving detail. The output view is centered to fairly match what my eyes are paying attention to.
