That demon woman is after Takajo in Yagyu Village. Sadly,by the time Jubei reaches her cave,it's already too late. Oyu shows up here as well,and Jubei explains how his father had fallen in love with Takajo,an Oni,and how he came to be. After the scene,examine the shiny object to get Takajo's Ring. On the way back you'll run into a new enemy,this small armored thing that can burrow underground. You'll have to force it's armor open before you can hurt it. Afterwards,head back and into Jubei's old house. More demons lurk around here,so be on guard. Lots of chests around here too. One of the rooms has a picture you can cut open with a key item half inside. You can find the other half in a chest in another room,as well as another puzzle box. Find the large drawer in Jubei's room and use Takajo's Ring on it,then use the 2 picture halves you found to solve the puzzle inside,opening a hidden passage. Down there,avoid the pit trap,and when you activate the giant moving trap,hang onto the pit to let it safely pass overhead and continue on. More enemies to fight outside,and a barrier you can't break yet.
