Dead by Daylight's recent patch has stirred up quite a ruckus in the community. Changes to different aspects of the game will always cause strife here and there throughout the game's life cycle, but patch 6.7.0 has left a pretty significant mark.

The healing nerfs and restrictions to Dead Hard usage has made killers a lot more threatening and this really shines through Oni. Less efficiency in healing gives Oni a lot more value to his blood orbs quantity and Dead Hard not being as prevalent anymore allows him to use his Demon Dash ability with a lot more ease. Considering what nonsense Oni can get away with utilizing an insta-down power, it makes him quite a serious menace to deal with nowadays.

The past few days of me playing killer, all I've needed to rely on is Sloppy Butcher through a chase build more than traditional gen perks to slow down survivors and these matches highlight that. Not to mention how much of a clown fiesta solo queue can be, these changes make that role enough more difficult for survivors. The only match I've struggled with since the patch release is against a top notch swf shown in the end of the video which really goes to show the difference between solo queue and swf (assuming people in a swf know what they're doing).

To think killers can be seen as a threat nowadays. 🤔
