ONS Thirty Flights of Loving & Gravity Bone: The complex details of a simple world.
GRavity Bone: Eh.
TFOL: Much better.
Also, director's commentary for TFOL.
And YOU can try this game yourself for a meager 5 euros. And what a great spending it was.
While this one hour video covers all corners, the game feels rich, grand and conveluted, while maintaining a simple graphical style. The details and context make every jump and action expand on itself, not to mention the most creative and exceptional credit scene.
The story is condensed with little nonsense. With great limitations, the ability to refine and perfect scenes expands greatly. With a lovely soundtrack and ambiance provided, there's only the giant square heads stopping you from being entranced by the game's premise.
Overal, TFOL is a short story well worth an applause, able to provide such a full story within the little time it takes to complete.
The world feel silly and cool at once, with many mistakes embraced into the fabric of the style. This game is how many of us imagine a story when one is told. Only with the freedom to eat oranges and float over stairwells.
