Following a lengthy stay in the Disney Vault, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh finally released on Home Video in the Late Spring of 1996. It was quite successful, selling plenty of copies for a "lesser" tier Disney Film before returning to the Disney Vault at the end of the holiday season alongside Pocahontas. Unfortunately, the year's totals paled in comparison to previous years, making Disney fearful for the future of their Classics lineup.
