On March 3rd, 1995, Disney's most acclaimed and successful animated film of all time, The Lion King, premiered on Home Video in the United States and Canada. This VHS would go on to be the highest selling VHS of all time (yes, even in this timeline), selling nearly sixty million units before returning to the Disney Vault in early 1996.
