The trusty Open Source Scan Converter (OSSC) received a few firmware upgrades in the past year or so. Since buying the device I haven't upgraded it: it's still on v0.81. There are supposedly some changes related to 400p modes, which are particularly interesting to me for the PC VGA modes (320x200 graphics, 720x400 text). So in this video I'll show you how to upgrade your OSSC and if I notice any improvements or changes in the step up from 0.81 to 0.84.
