This time I got myself a small DIY kit from Amazon: The CF210SP AM/FM Radio. It's a simple little kit and I bought it in the hopes to relive a bit of my youth when I had an educational electronics kit, with which you could build AM radios from discrete components. However, this kit here comes with a few caveats: Chinese instructions, a less than stellar case and other ill fitting bits and things.
