The 386 receives an upgrade: An old school 5.25" floppy drive is going to join the already equipped 3.5" Gotek USB floppy emulator. Having actual, physical media adds to the nostalgia, ... but also to the frustration. Floppy drives can be finnicky beasts and the media is notoriously unreliable, especially after 30 years. But we are lucky today, and while I've got one somewhat broken drive, the backup seems to be fine.
