The downside to this decision is that due to ToD being the first Tales game with multiplayer, it is also handled the worst. In order to have friends play with you, you need to find accessories called Channelings, and you can only have your friends play as characters equipped with them. Not to mention you can't even rearrange your party until you get 5 members. Ah well.
