OUTER BANKS Season 2 expected on Netflix in 2021 | Will John B & Sarah get the gold back?
1,125Hey, guys! So, that cliffhanger finale was the perfect setting for an even bigger and bolder new season, when Netflix finally renews Outer Banks for Season 2. Should the streaming company give the greenlight for new episodes, John B (Chase Stokes) and Sarah (Madelyn Cline) will be in the Bahamas looking for the gold sent there by Sarah’s father. Another task would be to clear John B’s name after Ward framed him for Sheriff Peterkin’s murder. Finally, we still need to find out what really happened to John B’s father, and something tells us that the creators gave us a hint that he could be alive when Sarah and John B are saved by a passing ship when everyone actually believes that they had died in a storm at sea, just like John’s father. The new crime and adventure series has been a hit with audiences – it holds an 88% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and many viewers binge-watched the show in one day. While Netflix is yet to officially announce Season 2 of Outer Banks, creator Jonas Pate said that he and his co-writers, his brother Josh and Shannon Burke, envision the show as a four-season story. Jonas Pate is currently “happily quarantined” with his family in Wilmington, N.C., which he finds perfect for writing Season 2 material, teasing that the story only gets larger from here.
