WHEN CALLS THE HEART Season 8 confirmed for 2021, Erin Krakow announces | Netflix premiere not set
Hey, guys! As the seventh season of When Calls the Heart wrapped up on television on April 26, we have great news for the Hearties: the Hallmark channel has officially announced the renewal of the hit romantic drama series for Season 8! The good news was delivered by the lead actress herself, Erin Krakow, in a sweet video message. Season 8 of When Calls the Heart will be released in Winter 2021 and will also have 10 episodes. While Season 6 was expected to come out on Netflix in March-April of 2020, it’s not even in their May newsletter. So, hopefully, June? Many fans were worried that the seventh season will not be the same without Lori Loughlin, but luckily, it turned out great! As you know, Loughlin’s character Abigail was written off in Season 6 after she was charged in mail fraud in 2019 in the college admissions bribery case. New main cast members were rumored for the seventh season, but I guess we’ll have to wait until Season 8 for that to take place. And, hopefully, the creators will find a love interest for Bill. By the way, When Calls the Heart cast members often do Live Facebook interviews on Home & Family, so check it out. And if you want to get to know the cast of When Calls the Heart even better and learn about their personal lives, we have a great video on that topic!
