LOCKE & KEY Season 2 RENEWED by Netflix for 2021 | The Locke siblings’ adventures will continue!
126Hey, guys! So, less than a month since the February debut of this new Netflix fantasy drama series, the streaming company officially renewed Locke and Key for Season 2! It is expected to be released in 2021, most likely in winter. After Hulu passed on the pilot in 2018, Netflix picked it up and made a wonderful adaptation of the original same-name graphic novel by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez. As the Locke siblings have become the new Keepers of the Keys in the first season, the stakes in Season 2 of Locke and Key will be even higher and the plot twists and turns will be even more thrilling. The fantasy series has a solid rating of 7.4 out of 10 on IMDb and a 70% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The main criticism comes from the lack of development of some of the main characters, illogical choices of the characters and annoyingly inconsistent magic. Hopefully, writers will do better for Season 2 material and allow the series to truly flourish. Darby Stanchfield, Connor Jessup, Emilia Jones and Jackson Robert Scott are all confirmed to be back to reprise their lead roles. What did you, guys, think of the first season of Locke and Key?
