Outriders (demo) — part 6 — A Bad Day & Historian - Everlasting
0Been a while since last episode of Outriders, hasn't it? Let's jump right into action with the A Bad Day sidequest that we got from a (now deceased) merchant.
Unsurprisingly, we go through an arena of enemies, then we go through another arena of enemies, then we encounter a cutscene. I'd write more about those arenas, but... what is there to say, really?
In the cutscene, though, we gain a brand new merchant in the hub town — a gun merchant!
For freeing her from a kinky basement, we supposedly get some discount. We'll see about that.
We do get an LMG out if it, though, with lifesteal too! Our first weapon with this trait, and I can see it being very useful. Perhaps in the next quest, the Terra Infirma?
Oh, sorry, there's another sidequest within that sidequest. So obviously that will be what we give priority to. A couple more shooty-shoot arenas, culminated with a holodisk we find for our resident museum conservator. We don't take the crate of books, not even a single one of them in fact. We just grab a holodisk and call it a day.
Cool.
In the end, we do level up and do get another skill (kind of an underwhelming one, to be honest), and we discover the true power of gear — skill enhancers. It seems like armour pieces can enhance your current skills! With two Heat Waves before cooldown kicks in we should be even more efficient at dispatching enemies that stand in our way!
