Outriders developer People Can Fly creates new studio
'Outriders' developer People Can Fly is opening a new Chicago studio.
The Polish company has expanded its workforce after acquiring Phosphor Games, and it's created People Can Fly Chicago to continue growing "as a global brand".
In a statement, Phosphor CEO Justin Cororan said: "We are very excited to be joining People Can Fly to open a brand new Triple-A studio, People Can Fly Chicago.
"Our goal is to strengthen PCF's presence in the US and help build People Can Fly as a global brand."
Meanwhile, People Can Fly CEO Sebastian Wojciechowski added: "With the variety of on-going projects, we need well-seasoned, ambitious professionals to bring our plans to fruition."
Chicago now joins New York and Montreal as the developer's locations across North America, while the company has international offices in Rzeszow, Warsaw, Lodz and Newcastle.
As well as 'Outriders', the studio has also worked on 'Gears of War Judgement', 'Painkiller' and 'Bulletstorm', and the studio is developing a new game with Square Enix, as well as an action adventure title for Take-Two.
