Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart State of Play event this week
PlayStation is holding a State of Play broadcast focused on 'Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart'.
The upcoming event will air on Thursday (29.04.21) at 10pm in the UK, and Sony has promised fans "15 minutes of fresh gameplay" for the upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive title.
In a blog post, Marcus Smith - creative director at Insomniac Games - wrote: "We’re pleased to announce that 'Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart' is the focus of PlayStation’s next State of Play.
"Tune in to the PlayStation Twitch and YouTube channels this Thursday, April 29 at 2pm Pacific / 5pm Eastern to see more than 15 minutes of fresh gameplay."
The game is set to drop on PS5 on June 11, and more details have already been announced this week - including the name of the new female hero - ahead of the State of Play.
Following a fresh trailer release, Smith added: "We finally revealed her name… you guessed it! Right?!
"Rivet is a Lombax resistance fighter from another dimension, where the evil Emperor Nefarious hunts all those who oppose him.
"You saw brand-new locations like Nefarious City, and alternate-dimension twists on old favourites like Sargasso and Torren IV along with a sneak-peak at some new weapons and gameplay mechanics."
