OverThinker: GAMEWATCH - PILOT 002 - Altered Beast (Arcade)

Here's a (second) test-pilot (with mini-intro) for a new show-concept we're kicking around: "GAMEWATCH" (title may not be final), a combination of podcast and "live"-riff based around video games. To answer some quick questions from last time:
- Not "taking requests" (or soliciting self-created playthroughs) at this time, but also not saying no to hearing about them either.
- It's possible (providing this moves forward) we'd use self-produced play footage at some point, but it's not going to be live-play. Short-version: Let's-play/live-play means there's constant immediate engagement, whereas passive viewing means that stretches where less is happening in the game (ideally) become room for digression, tangent and riffing (i.e. the "boring" parts of movies during MST3K riffs.)
- Chris, Sarah and myself did these first two and some combination thereof will likely do more, but I am planning to shake it up and have different friends/colleagues on. Mostly same-locale for now because Skype is such a pain in the ass. Stay tuned.
- One thing I want to avoid, however, is having only (or primarily) "gaming people" or people invested in the games in question on; because I feel like that gets old kind of quick especially if they're retro/classic games. People who DON'T know what's going on will often have funnier reactions or start interesting side-conversations, whereas 3-4 guys who all look/sound exactly like me all tripping over eachother to make the same tired "All your base"-type reference first just sounds like torture to me at this point :)
See below for info on us, the game footage featured, etc. If and when we end up doing more of these my HOPE is to specifically solicit playthroughs of interesting/obscure stuff at some point, but we're not there quite yet. I hope you like it and that we end up doing more of it. -- Bob
