Overwatch: Junkrat Overview & Introduction! (Abilities & Lore)

Junkrat is the latest damage dealer of Overwatch. He has a love for home made explosives and traps. His potential damage output is very high, but with a relatively low amount of hitpoints and difficult to control abilities, he is going to take a lot of skill to play.
Junkrat's abilities:
- Frag Launcher (LMB) - Shoots grenades at a moderate distance. They bounce around until they either hit or miss a target.
- Concussion Mine (Shift) - First throws the Mine and then can be reactivated with the right mouse button. This mine deals damage and gives Junkrat mobility.
- Steel Trap (E) - Throws down a trap on the ground that activates when an enemy walks over it, holding them in place.
- RIP-Tire (Q) - Junkrat's Ultimate allows him to control a mine remotely that can detonate and deal massive amounts of splash damage.
- Total Mayhem - Passive ability that throws a mines on the ground when Junkrat gets taken out that explode a second later.
As Junkrat your goal is to deal damage to the enemies. He will be especially powerful in defensive play. Positioning yourself and the traps will be very important as the small healthpool will become a problem if you are caught off guard. It will be significantly easier to take out stationary targets such as Bastion as Junkrat than extremely mobile ones like Tracer.
Junkrat's real name is Jamison Fawkes. He is an explosives obsessed freak who loves to create chaos and destruction. His base of operations is Junkertown in the Australian Outback. He is part of a group that call themselves the Junkers. However, living in the area, he also became affected by the radiation after the Omnic Crisis. It transformed his love for scrap metal and explosives into an obsession.

Unveiled on November 7, 2014 at BlizzCon, the game emphasizes cooperative gameplay using a cast of various "heroes", each with their own abilities and roles within a team. The game is scheduled to enter a closed beta phase in the fall of 2015.
