Rohit Kapoor on being asked about Chinese investors backing India unicorns said that it was a non-issue for OYO because their largest investor was Softbank Vision Fund which has a Japanese parentage but is based out of Europe. The second largest investor is founder Ritesh Agarwal who is an Indian. The company’s investment from China at 2% is next to nothing. CEO Rohit Kapoor says that they are very much an Indian brand going global & very proud of it. “We are Made In India, very relevant for the world and will continue serving our citizens every single day.
