What I found to be very helpful when using the Falchion is the rolling and then attacking. This can either be a rolling attack, which works well if you have the proper distance, or you could try rolling, breaking your lock-on, and trying for a backstab, which will work nicely if they have already tried attacking you, and is stuck in their animation. Keep your bleeding effect in mind, don't forget the two-hit rule in Dark Souls II PVP, and you should turn out fine! Good luck! I love you.
