Pacific Drive is difficult to describe and hard to recommend to anyone but fans of the survival genre. Is it a better game than at launch and is it worth it now? Well, after a number of patches that update the game, it remains fundamentally the same experience as it was when it came out in 2024. So, if you were hoping it had done a No Man’s Sky transformation, you’re out of luck. On the other hand, it is a better game with more depth, better performance and additional ways to customise your experience. Whether it’s for you or not I can’t say, but hopefully this video will help you figure that out.
