Painting A Golden Daemon Army For Warhammer 40K! | Hobby Chat
23I dove into a new painting project over the last week or so. I've always been taken by the idea of painting a Daemon (Demon?) army for Warhammer 40k and so I picked up the Combat Patrol for the Chaos Daemons for use in 10th Edition. The twist was that I wanted to paint them up in a different way! So was born the Golden Daemon army!

The Golden Daemon has always been portrayed in artwork from Games Workshop as this yellow creature and so I thought I'd take some cues from that and paint up my Khorne Bloodletters and more in the same style! I have worked through about half of the Combat Patrol already and I think the yellow demons are looking very nice indeed!
I have found myself facing a few little hiccups but nothing terrible. With that in mind, I talk about how I've painted and where I'd like to take the project in the future as I dive deeper into it and take the army up a few levels to 1000 and 2000 points.
