As a fan of Middle-earth, I had to snap up the new Starter Kit for Tales Of Middle-earth by Wizards Of The Coast for Magic: The Gathering. I go through the contents of the Starter Kit for the Green/White Deck and the Red/Black Deck representing both the Good and Evil forces in Middle-earth.

I love the look of the artwork from the myriad of different illustrators involved as part of this project and it's fascinating seeing the alternative interpretations we've got as part of this set. I really like that the themes of Middle-earth have carried through a lot more here compared to the likes of the Warhammer 40,000 take on Magic.
