Just had this happen to me on accident, so I figured I would share. If you throw a Sphere at a Pal, and then quickly jump up and mantle to the top of the Sphere, you will stand on top of it. Your screen will shake with the Sphere as the Pal tries to escape, but when the catch is successful, you will be shot up super high into the air! I laughed when this happened to me, so of course I had to try it again. It can happen consistently every time you do it!

One thing I noticed about this: If you try to grab onto the Sphere while it is trying to catch the Pal, but your character doesn't grab the Sphere so you can mantle up it, it means that the catch is going to fail. The only time you will grab it is when the catch is going to succeed. Just thought I'd point that out since I guess you could use that as a means to know if your catch will be successful or not. But then again, it's not like it takes long to figure out.
