Wow! I played this for 3 hours. Oops!
P.A.M.E.L.A. is a survival game. Your revived in a utopian city that has fallen to a disease outbreak and you need to survive and try and recover the city.
There are a lot of items you can find, weapons can be upgraded and there is even an engineering menu where you can craft temporary structure to help you. I didn't use it in the video because I was trying to find my way to my old corpse to recover my items for the most part, which I found to be quite difficult. Navigation appears to be half of the challenge as the map only shows the local vicinity. I think next time I will play with different tactics . Eventually I assume you would memorise the way around.
Despite my inability to locate the sleeping quarters where I died I found the game play to be great. There is quite a conundrum in the game, society has collapsed so you need to fight zombies and steal items but if the policing robots see you they attack you as a criminal. It adds a cool spin to the game play.
I had a great time playing it. It's very high quality especially for the price. I did find a few bugs with the robots but nothing game breaking. Sometimes they would walk into a wall and continue trying to walk through it forever and once one was walking in the air. I hope they fix that sort of thing soon but it won't really effect any game play currently, plus it is in early access so a few problems should be expected.
