Grodus awaits in the Palace of Shadow throne room, where he will finally face off with you. In battle, he uses a variety of magic with a wide range of effects. His attacks can burn, freeze and pierce defense, while he can also cast magic that stops its targets from moving for several turns, or grants him the Counterattack or Dodgy conditions. He also will spawn Grodus Xs after each move he makes. Each one boosts his Defense by 1, and he will become invulnerable if he has four of them.
