This is the first half of a Paperboy NES playthrough, Monday through Thursday.

This game seems to be pretty tricky at first try, but really, there's just a few weird hoops to get through and it's not too bad. Probably the biggest obstacle is learning the weird hit boxes everything in the game has. The angle of gameplay makes the bike seem to hit things and be fine, and fall over when it seems safe. Bushes, fences, bikers, and pretty much everything else have hit boxes that seem off because of the angle.

The other trouble a lot of people have is that they stick to the sidewalk like glue, and wander into the street when in trouble. Don't go in the street! That's dangerous! Cars are in the street, and you can't do much to avoid them. Instead, bike across lawns. Hardly anything moves on lawns, it's just maneuvering once there.

Also, I hate the houses with tiny porches.
