Paradox Resolved! - Noobin' with Bayonetta 2 - Ep. 16 (Final?)
10Hey there fellow Noobs! On today's Noobin' with Bayonetta 2, it's a doubly (nearly triply) long episode as we take on Chapter 16, Sovereign Power. So much craziness happens in this episode: we fight the god of Chaos, Aesir (and die a lot), we team up with our arch nemesis (Balder), we learn of Loki's origin and true power, and we even seem to finally resolve that time paradox. Everything seems to be tied up in a nice little bow. It's been an incredible run. This game is such a blast. Thanks for hanging out with me throughout this playthrough. (After finishing this episode, I found that there is an epilogue so in reality, this isn't the final episode so stay tuned for at least one more episode.) :D

Bayonetta 2 is an action hack and slash video game developed by Platinum Games and published by Nintendo exclusively for the Wii U. It is the direct sequel to the 2009 game, Bayonetta. Bayonetta 2's story starts shortly after the conclusion of the events in Bayonetta.
Familiar faces return in Bayonetta 2, leading off with the titular character herself. She's accompanied by her Umbran Witch sister Jeanne, cursing sidekick Enzo, klutzy obsessed follower/helper Luka, and the demonic shopkeep Rodin.
A few new faces join the cast of Bayonetta 2. Loki, a character struck with amnesia but controls an incredible power known as the Remembrance of Time. A masked Lumen Sage (who is actually Balder from Bayonetta 1!) hellbent on stopping Bayonetta for reasons unknown. A shady character who goes by the name Prophet who is assisting Balder in his quest.

New features introduced in Bayonetta 2:
- Umbran Climax: When Bayonetta's magic gauge is full, she can activate Umbran Climax mode which grants Bayonetta a short surge of power. This mode strengthens Bayonetta's attacks and combos with extra Wicked Weaves and Infernal Demon summons for a short period of time. This increases the attacks and combos overall range and damage while also replenishing Bayonetta's health when in use.
- Tag Climax: An online co-op mode. Tag Climax allows players to work together or compete for score in various levels of Bayonetta 2 unlocked by acquiring Verse Cards. These cards are acquired during the single-player story. Each level has different objectives, including intense boss battles and fighting enemy hordes. In addition to simply completing a level, players can also challenge each other for score through a Halo betting system.
