Paralogue #3 (Black Eagles) - Darkness Beneath The Earth | Fire Emblem: Three Houses (Switch)
It's Paralogue time! Welcome to Paralogue #3 for the Black Eagles in Fire Emblem: Three Houses! "Darkness Beneath The Earth" is an exclusive Paralogue that can only be accessed in the Edelgard route. The Paralogue begins with Hubert speaking to Byleth about "Those Who Slither In The Dark". From his interactions with Thales and Lord Arundel, Hubert knows that the Agarthans are as ancient as the goddess herself and harbor resentment just as ancient for surface dwellers. While Hubert acknowledges that Edelgard has begrudgingly made a deal with Thales in order to secure her vision of a unified Fodlan, he knows that they will eventually threaten the peace if left to their devices. So, Hubert has been attempting to locate Shambhala in secret so that House Vestra can eliminate the Agarthans once the war ends. Just as Hubert finishes his discussion, he receives a summons from Lord Arundel. It appears that an experiment involving Demonic Beasts in the Sealed Forest has gone horribly wrong and Arundel wishes for us to restore order and save his mages. Hoping to gain more information on the Agarthans, Hubert agrees to the task and rallies the Black Eagles to the Sealed Forest. Our objective in this Paralogue is to defeat all of the Demonic Beasts and save as many Agarthan mages as possible. There are no major rewards for completing this Paralogue.
