After SHoP Architects was awarded the 2016 Design Miami Visionary Award with an invitation to design the entry, the firm quickly reached out to Branch Technology to develop a design concept that leveraged large-scale 3D printing.

2- ‘WAVE’ by d’strict with anamorphic illusion has been successfully revealed on a magnificent DOOH of COEX K-POP SQUARE, the largest & high-definition outdoor advertising screen in S.Korea.

3- “Heaven Bloom” by WHYIXD is located in the lobby of a building that is constructed by GoldenJade development corp. Along with the international architecture team from Singapore, WOHA, this mansion was designed with the concept of nature.

4- The arch was designed by Chuck Hoberman to be used as a mechanical curtain for the Olympic Medal Plaza’s stage. It is a semi-circular aluminum structure, which opened like the iris of a human eye.

5- Resonance — Reflective Kinematronic III is an expansive kinetic installation made of light, movement and a mirrored body. The body consists of 17 wave-shaped metal blades that combine to form a single, continuously undulating wave. Wires attached to the ends of the metal ribbons link them to three helical tubes suspended under the ceiling with a pulley system. The helixes are each powered by a separate motor and turn on their axis.
