This video will show you what worked best for me and what did not as far as option settings, configurations, file formats, compressions, containers, etc. in Ulead Video Studio 10.0 SE when used in conjunction with an EasyCAP Easy CAPture USB 2.0 Video Adapter with Audio Model No.: DC60 device. Using a high quality action scene as my source video played from a digital video player, I painstakingly recorded a large number of recordings of the same action scene, but each time, using different option settings, configurations, file formats, compressions, containers, etc. in Ulead Video Studio 10.0 SE, all in the goal of comparing and contrasting the varying possible option settings to discover which option settings gave the best results as far as image quality, video smoothness and reproduction accuracy go in the encoding (capture) of an NTSC 4:3 480i standard definition video of around 30 frames per second.
In Part 1 of 2, I go through the initial setup of Ulead Video Studio 10.0 SE's Movie Wizard in order to capture and encode video and audio using an EasyCAP DC60 device.
In Part 2 of 2, I divulge the results obtained from the various different option settings tested (all while showing how to set each tested setting in Ulead Video Studio 10.0 SE) and announce which configuration gave optimum results.
