NOTE: The LOT1 uploads will be on break for a while. I'm still getting through the post-game / Plus Disk content (in other words: there ISN'T anything to upload atm). The plan is to be done with this game before the end of 2023.

Anyway, I thought I'd upload this, just to use as a reference for future playthroughs of this game. Reimu's level, as of the Maribel fight, is Level 124.

Character Builds:
Reimu: MND
Marisa: SP (Level 1 to 11), MAG
Remilia: HP/DEF Equal Split (Level 1 to 74), DEF
Sakuya: HP
Patchouli: MAG
Chen: SPD
Meiling: HP/DEF Split
Cirno: ATK
Minoriko: MND
Youmu: ATK
Alice: MAG
Rumia: MAG
Wriggle: DEF
Yuugi: ATK
Iku: MND
Komachi: HP
Suwako: ATK
Sanae: MAG

Most of this is standard stuff (e.g. min-maxing attacker bonuses). The builds that I'm most interested in are: Meiling, Remilia, Sakuya, Chen, Cirno, Eirin, Patchouli.

Meiling and Remilia: The split HP/DEF was okay for a while, but I started to regret it towards the end with bosses like Rinnosuke and Master Light Wings. I don't mind it so much on Meiling, since her growths seem to be good and she has the ability to heal herself, but I'll probably do pure DEF Remilia next time.

Sakuya: I actually think this build isn't bad. It's decent for dungeon crawling (Sakuya won't be doing any attacking, but she's a good Slot 2 tank/switcher thanks to her SPD). The high HP also isn't bad with her SPD buffing moveset. I don't really like DEF-build Sakuya, because then she relies on DEF buffs for tanking and DEF buffs don't play well with her SPD buffs. HP-build gives her enough HP to survive dangerous attacks, and she'll quickly regenerate it all if she's in the back with max SPD buffs anyway.

Eirin: This isn't working, probably because Eirin is way slower than Sakuya is. I'm pivoting her to a DEF build.

Chen: Ah yes, the meme-y SPD build. Is it any good? Lol no. Definitely not usable in bosses. Its okay for dungeon crawling (and by dungeon crawling, I mean "running away from every encounter when I don't feel like fighting"), but she doesn't even get first turn on a bunch of floors (like 12F, 13F etc). I should probably salvage it by pivoting to ATK, but I morbidly curious to see what full SPD build Chen looks like by the end of Plus Disk...

Cirno: Last time, I ran SPD build Cirno. This time I went with ATK build. Not really sure how I feel about this build. You're definitely not using Cirno for damage in bosses, but even in randoms her spells aren't super damaging unless she's over-leveled. Her status effects are more important, but if you want only the effects, why not just use SPD? It's even better for specific encounters (like the Reisen fight, where you don't want to accidentally kill her minions, or the Flame Tyrant, which requires you to constantly apply PAR).

It really doesn't help that Cirno gets power crept by the newer Plus Disk characters. Mystia and Renko both have PAR inflicting spells that are way stronger than Cirno's Diamond Blizzard (Mystia's AOE has a stronger PAR effect, also inflicts PSN and isn't crippled by a composite formula. Renko's AOE has the strongest single PAR effect in the game AND it also inflicts SPD debuffs. It basically makes Cirno redundant).

I'm not really sure where to go with Cirno TBH...

Patchoui: I now know that a MND build isn't necessary for her to solo Rainbow Phoenix, but dunno where she goes from now. Maybe I'll pivot to MND build? I usually stop playing her because of her SPD, though her low TP doesn't help either.
