Patch 12 has come EARLY!!!

They don't have the greatest history of releasing updates on time, so with them mentioning mid-August in the notes for the release of this patch, I thought for sure we wouldn't see it in game until much later. Its a pleasant surprise to be proven wrong.

Today I'm jumping into the game and giving my initial reactions and live impressions of the changes as I check them out. Of-course I had to jump into a Maelstrom mission to show you how fun or not fun it would be. The mission I was able to get into was Maelstrom I-II (Waves of Specialists & Monstrous Specialists), Damnation Gameplay with my Psyker.

If you give it a watch you'll see this was a new level of challenge to the game that added a lot of fun. Originally I wasn't too bothered about Maelstrom but after this mission, I think I'm going to have a lot of fun.

These missions still don't tackle the biggest issue, which is new player retention unfortunately, but it is nice for "devoted" players (as they say) to get something new & fun.
