Hills are the starting place for the exploration today. After so many runs in a row with Dismount Mates being an option, it really shows how far the journey has come once we are left to explore without it.

At first, I made a wrong turn at the beginning (going up too early), although getting the Timeout bonus really helped with progressing later on.

I learned my lesson with the Dungeon this time, and went in blasting once I got the the point where the three monsters spawned in. That seemed to be the proper solution to that encounter. The next hallway showed (a Shiny Pin and) the opposite problem: three monsters that had shields to bullets. The solution I found was to lasso the biggest one, scaring the others away. I then proceeded to have a serious dilemma on whether to bring in half a Bananrangs worth of homing fruit for Ammo Smoothies or an entire Bombegranite for a full mixture. After over half a minute of serious(ly silly) debate, I eventually took on the boss of the Bat Shrine: a giant Bat... Jumbo BOMBat. Elliot and Reinda helped me get through it - just barely!

This is also the Quest where the last Ammo Fruit's pin was found as a Shiny! This means my Unique Pins equals my Unique Shiny Pins now!

Pace Breaker and Spark Jacket really shine as a duo of forgiveness here. Bonus Heart really helped as well, although Ejector Shorts really showed its merit, too! However, at the end, I misjudged a corner room as a Tree/Heart room. After seeing it was a corner, I then misjudged the difficulty for the journey ahead while at low health with no Pets remaining to mount, and was defeated on what could've been a double Origins run.
