Patch V2022.1 - New features [GameMaker Studio 2]
The newest patch comes with some good quality updates.
The first one is that you can set you fx effect now to a single layer which is godsend. Before you could only create and fx layer and all layers below were equally affected which was okay but took away from this cool feature.
The second update is that collisions are now based on float numbers which should be more precise. But if you are having issues with the new system you can go to your General Game Options and enable "Collision Compatibilty Mode" which sets collision checking to the "old" system.
Another quality feature is the new Feather auto completion system that gives you more informations and better auto functions while coding. This may not seem so important but is actually a very powerful tool for all developers. It is currently only avaialbe in the beta version if you like to check it out.
