Instead of buffing unused/weak Ascendancies slightly and nerfing overused/OP to match the newly buffed ones, GGG buffing the worse ones straight into the same category as the current OP ascendancies.


Guardian unchanged mostly;

- "free" endurance/frenzy/power charge generation, even for bossing!
- 10s stun immunity when blocked recently (AKA permanent while mapping)


Assassin buffed quite a bit and he got bleed bonuses removed in favor of more poison and more crit utilities;

- Insane poison duration via stacking poison
- 0.1% base crit per poison on enemy, up to 2% (basically permanent 2% base crit increase)
- 0.5% life recovered on kill per poison on enemy killed
- Ambush & Assassinate put together in a 2 pointer
- Actual power charge generation when critting (and buffed when not critting)
- Crits cannot be reflected
- No extra damage taken from critical hits and 100% increased damage when no targets nearby (great for bossing)
- Bleed damage bonuses removed completely (arguably a nerf)


HierOPhant with major buffs to totem and selfcast builds;

- Easy permanent uptime on low level Arcane Surge (10% MORE spell damage, 10% Cast Speed, 0.5% Maximum mana (base which gets scaled by mana regen% passives)
- While AS is on, gain: IMMUNE TO ELEMENTAL AILMENTS, AoE, 0.5% spell life leech, 40% spell damage
- Easier power and endurance charge generation, 5% reduced ele dmg taken (often this means you take less damage in practice), 5% elemental penetration while you have endurance & power charge respectively
- NINETY (90) PERCENT totem placement speed (skill tree has a around 90% if you take the ones that are obtainable without insane traveling)
- Totem duration (boss fights & lighting warp totem hype?)
- Up to 2 extra totems (1 per major node) with no negative effects
- Both life and BASE percentage mana regen (again scaled by mana regen% passives) while having totems up
- 10% less mana reserved
