Why Trickster Is Broken - With Math (UPDATED: Not so broken anymore, read description)
Patch nodes 3.2. changed this node to
25% chance for 25% Added
15% chance for 50% Added
5% chance for 100% Added
Which basically brings this node to around ~19% Added as on average compared to 45%. The node is still strong, but is no longer absolutely busted. It was a good, justified change.
There is a mistake at 3:00
"(2000*1.45)+(1000*1.45)" should be (2000*1.45)+(1000*0.45) - Or in a more clear way:
2000 damage (the total physical + fire damage) + 2000*0.45 (physical damage added as chaos) + 1000*0.45 (fire damage added as chaos)
Also silly me. Completely forgot to mention that other "Adds damage as" than chaos damage also increase the chaos damage. So if you add physical damage as extra fire (not converted to), that fire damage can also be added as extra chaos damage.

"Add extra damage as" is applied between conversions, which means if you have "Non-Chaos damage added as extra Chaos damage" it can apply the adds damage multiple times.
