The new Siege of the Atlas expansion dropped, along with the Archnemesis challenge league. The challenge league is straightforward fun, a boss-building mechanic that nets you specific rewards for overcoming tough modified enemies. The expansion itself is firmly focused on the end-game mapping system. It completely reworks the atlas and adds a massive skill tree that gives the game a build-your-own-end-game feel. This gives the end game more freedom to allow you to focus on the maps and content you want to play, while also giving more structure that you work towards at your own pace. It's a really nice refinement of the mechanics that adds a lot to the end-game experience.
