0A thin vertical U-tube of very long arms contains some amount of mercury. Period of small amplitude oscillations of mercury is T1 =2.0 s. If in one arm, a mass m = 100 g of water is added, period of small oscillation becomes T2 = 3.0 s. Find mass of mercury in the tube. Neglect effects of surface tension.
