Pathologic 2 (Day 1, part 3)
0We're woken up from disturbing dreams by Lara, who says that someone from Big Vlad Olgimsky is here with a message for us. It appears one of the higher-ups who run the town have vouched for us and we're no longer being attacked on sight while we walk the streets. Unfortunately, it's too late to have prevented the brutality some of the townspeople have reduced themselves to, as we find when we come across an herb bride being burned at the stake. A woman, desperate to escape confinement in the Termitary, falls to her death. An accident? Or was this her only escape from whatever is going on inside? The town already seems to be coming apart at the seams. We eventually make our way to the Broken Hearts, a tavern run by the Stamatin Brothers, Andrey and Peter. We're given a couple bottles of twyrine on the house. We make our way to the theater, and watch a somewhat disturbing audition for a production that the director, Mark Immortell, wants 'full authenticity' for.
