Game's got style, but gameplay itself doesn't feel right. Might be how enemies don't quite telegraph quite as much as I'd like(not sure it's actually a problem though), or the small amount of lag in every command that makes it seem sluggish and cumbersome, making dodging consecutive hits uncertain. I wouldn't mind completing this if the game scrapped the adventure segments. Those are just mind numbingly boring. Without the padding, the fights otherwise seem alright enough, to have some enjoyment out of them. Would've also wanted custom controls. I kind of liked the modern election year knockout scheme more, where low and high and right and left are all shoulder buttons, where directionals are solely for dodging.
