I had hoped to expand into another town today, but unfortunately my finances didn't do much to help me with that. Instead I had to adjust some of the routes to make sure I didn't spend too much money on buying goods.
Fortunately I had the luck to capture a pirate ship after it had looted an AI trader, which provided me with some free income. And my expedition convoy returned - finally - which goods will help me in the future to earn more money. And on top of that I managed to find a treasure worth a whopping 23K! Although buying the map pieces had cost me somewhere over 17K, so finding it was nice, but it wasn't really worth the investment.

The downside of what happened today, was that Stockholm became under siege. And of course, the besiegers decided to attack the one gate I had my industries build near. Hopefully some of them will survive, as I certainly will need them in the future.
